The Bühne der Kulturen was an intercultural theatre in Cologne-Ehrenfeld that mainly staged plays about multicultural coexistence. It grew out of the Turkish Arkadaş Theater, founded in 1983 by Necati Şahin.

Visitor note
The Bühne der Kulturen ceased performing on 31 July 2017, having previously been classified as "threatened with closure". Since October 2017 the Urania Theater has succeeded it in the Ehrenfeld building. We keep this entry for cultural-history reasons; there is no current programme under this name.
