The D.a.S. Theater is an independent theatre based in Cologne, founded in 1990 by Klaus-Volker Roth and Gisela Nohl. By 2023 it had given around 2,100 performances to some 400,000 spectators.

Theatre with a stance
The D.a.S. Theater was honoured in 1994 for "exemplary integration work"; its production Du bist meine Mutter, about dementia and ageing, won the main prize at the NRW independent-theatre festival in 1993.
