Comedy with big names

After early years of contemporary drama, the programme shifted to boulevard theatre. Under the long-standing leadership of Barbara Heinersdorff and Inge Durek the house became one of the most successful of its kind – leading Germany with 18,000 subscribers in 2007. Stars such as Harald Juhnke, Jochen Busse, Thomas Fritsch and Grit Boettcher appeared on its stage. Today the theatre is run by Oliver Durek and René Heinersdorff.
