The Cologne Wine Museum in Neustadt-Nord, near the Zoobrücke, is the only museum of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is devoted to viticulture, cellar techniques, terroir and the history of the wine trade in Cologne.

Wine above and below the roof

On the walk-on roof, more than 40 varieties grow on around 720 vines and can be tasted when ripe. The Wittling family runs the museum as a registered association; their wine shop occupies the same building. A charming destination for anyone who wants not just to drink wine but to understand it.
